About GLOWS

GLOWS is a coalition of agencies, churches, organizations, and individuals working together to assist our unhoused and disadvantaged neighbors. GLOWS operates in Garland, but will offer help to anyone who needs it. We provide safe overnight shelter during dangerous winter cold, a cooling station during extreme summer heat, and hot meals year-round.

Mon–Fri  ·  1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
When does it open? The cooling station opens when the temperature or the heat index reaches 100°F.
